Who We Are
The people behind 345pi
A small, research-driven team on a mission to make calculus social — and to send more students toward STEM by changing how the hardest math gets learned.

Carlos Luis Obando
Founder
A Harvard MBA and Duke-trained engineer, Carlos spent two decades across IBM, Citi, Microsoft, and UBS before turning his focus to education. He teaches as an adjunct at Seattle University and founded 345pi to make calculus social — pairing rigorous pedagogy with the belief that the hardest math clicks faster when students work through it together.

Yunjie (Jessica) Guo
AI Architect Intern
An AI Architect Intern (the same role she holds at MITELCO360) studying at Duke University and Duke Kunshan University (Class of 2027), Yunjie brings an AI and product lens to 345pi — helping shape how collaborative calculus practice feels for students.
